Robert W. Robinson III, DMD
Dr. Rob graduated from Wasilla High in 1989. He then attended the University of Louisville, where he completed a BS degree and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Upon completion of dental school in 1999, Rob returned to Wasilla to begin practicing with his father, who started Valley Dental Clinic in 1973. After six months of learning the ropes from dad, Dr. Robinson Sr. retired, leaving the practice to move forward with the next generation of dentists in the Robinson family. As our practice continues, Dr. Rob remains committed to growing, learning, and giving his patients excellent care. To achieve this, he continues his education every year and has completed advanced training in dental implant placement and most recently in Bioclear and the Bioclear Matrix technique. Click on our Bioclear tab for more information of this awesome new form of restoration.
Dr. Rob has two kids, Devin and Brooklyn. He loves to hunt and fish and ride snow machines. He also competed in the 2012 Iron Dog. If you don’t see Dr. Rob at the office, there is a good chance he is “in the woods” somewhere. His business hours are definitely subject to change during hunting and fishing season! Dr. Rob hopes to see you soon at the clinic or on the river.

Carrie - Office Manager
Carrie always knew she wanted to work in the health care field, however the dental office is the last place she thought she would end up! She earned her BA degree in Sociology in 2006 from UAA and had plans to be a grant writer. After college, Carrie moved back to the Valley. She happened to be visiting her dentist in 2009 when he mentioned that he needed to fill a front desk position. He offered her an interview, and she has been in the dental field ever since. She moved into dental management in 2011 and joined Valley Dental Clinic in 2015. Carrie’s favorite part of working at Valley Dental Clinic is working with the great team that they have assembled because it allows them to put forth the best care possible to their patients. “We have the best time working together and the patients can see that coming to the dentist really can be a lot of fun!”

She is passionate about helping patients achieve their desired dental hygiene potential and improving their smile. When Kortnie is not chairside with her patients, you can expect to find her fishing on the river banks or camping in the woods with her fiance, Josh.
One of Kortnie's favorite pastimes is watching 90's movies....her all time favorite is the Disney classic, Cool Runnings. She claims to know every line, word for word.
Chrissy- Front Desk Coordinator
Chrissy is passionate about being a patient advocate. According to her, there is nothing like the satisfied look on a patients face when they've navigated the sometimes confusing world of insurance/financing and the unknown of treatment to come out the other end with an even bigger better smile. To calm fears, answer questions and help make treatment possible, especially in a soothing environment is rewarding to Chrissy.
Chrissy's other passion is her family! She cannot spend enough time with her husband Erik, young son Kyle and their ferrets Oscar and Puggy. Whether traveling or playing around the house they make her heart smile!
